What we collect
Dawwen collects your name, email address, and password (stored hashed) to create and secure your account. When you use voice notes, we process the audio you record and the text notes generated from it. We also store categories, summaries, and usage limits needed to run the product.
How we use it
We use your data to provide authentication, save and organize notes, generate transcripts and summaries, send account emails (verification and password reset), and enforce fair-use limits. We do not sell your personal data.
Processors
Voice transcription, note structuring, and summarization are processed by third-party AI providers acting on our behalf. Email delivery uses our email provider. Hosting and database providers store encrypted data in transit via HTTPS where configured.
Retention & deletion
Notes, categories, and summaries remain until you delete them or delete your account. Session cookies are used for authentication. You can request account deletion by contacting support.
